Meet the Board and Executive Director

The Women’s Referral Network Board of Directors are elected to serve each year by the general membership. Elections are held in April with formal announcement at the May Anniversary luncheon. These women are responsible for the general operation of the organization including the facilitation of all meetings, special events and activities that benefit organizations members. All board positions are voluntary and carry terms of two years.

WRN hired its First Executive Director in August 2004. Since that time, the Executive Director has been instrumental in assisting this volunteer team meet the growing and demanding needs of the organization. Learn more about this dynamic team below.

Nina Malone, Executive Director

Nina Malone has been successfully managing volunteer and business organizations for more than two decades. As president of Malone Marketing Communications LLC, Nina handles marketing and public relations for numerous clients in diverse fields, including creative services, business services, healthcare, education and manufacturing. She is a past-president of the New Jersey Communications, Advertising and Marketing Association and the Rider University Alumni Board of Directors, and is a District Manager and Independent Consultant for Arbonne International. She also held leadership posts in healthcare, communications, marketing and education associations.

Nina holds a M.A. in Human Services Administration from Rider University, and a B.A. in Journalism from Rider College. An avid volunteer, Nina has been a WRN member and helper since 1999. She served the WRN as Public Relations Chairperson and Member Spotlight Writer. She’s also very involved with her stepchildren’s activities, and currently is a Senior Class Representative for the Bishop Shanahan Parents’ Association. Nina and her family live in West Brandywine Township.

Paula Paisley - Paisley Accounting & Computer Solutions, Inc.

President

Paula J. Paisley is a lifelong resident of Chester County and graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Financial Management. She has over 20 years experience designing, implementing and maintaining internal accounting systems for area businesses. In 1996 she founded Paisley Accounting & Computer Solutions, Inc. to help clients succeed by making everyday decisions based accurate financial information. PACS provides bookkeeping services and support, accounting software training, and payroll. Paula is married with 3 dogs and enjoys reading, kayaking and hiking.

Betsy Niedziejko - Fulton Bank



Betsy Niedziejko is a Commercial Lender with Fulton Bank and is responsible for all aspects of a business's banking needs with concentrated efforts in the Chester County region. Betsy holds her B.S. in Marketing with an Economics concentration from West Chester University. Having been an at-home Mom while operating a home-based business, she has an appreciation for teamwork and organization. She lives in Nottingham and embraces her son and daughter’s accomplishments. For fun, Betsy enjoys the beach with her husband and two children.

Renee Brandon - Open Door Expressions



Renee Brandon, Principal of Open Door Expressions, has been a business owner in the printing and graphics industry for the past 17 years. A graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Civil Engineering, she pursued her entrepreneurial passions when she and her husband, Noel, opened a small printing company in 1990. Through Open Door Expressions, her graphic design business, Renee helps her clients by designing their marketing materials. She creates brochures, stationery packages and all types of mail campaigns. She also designs logos and helps her clients with corporate identity decisions. Because of her extensive printing background, she is well versed in print design. However, in keeping with technology, she has extended her services to web design as well. Renee and Noel have two children, Stephanie and Kavan.

Mary DeNatale - Chesapeake Bay Associates


Mary DeNatale graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in Communication Journalism and a concentration in public relations. At the same time Mary also earned minors in business and art. Mary currently works with Chesapeake Bay Associates and enjoys spending her free time with friends or reading a good book.

Nanci Hagarty - Mr. Dryer Vent



Nanci is currently operating a Mr. Dryer Vent office in West Chester. The company specializes in customer service while offering residential and commercial cleaning, repair and installation of dryer vents. Her company helps reduce the risk of fire, decrease drying time and improve efficiency. Mr. Dryer Vent serves salons, hotels, apartments, condos, fitness centers, laundromats, homes and property management organizations.

She has attended Shippensburg University for Business Management and the Delaware County Community College obtaining a degree in Computer Programming. She currently participates on the Entrepreneurial Advisory Committee at the Delaware County Community College to assist in the development of new educational program offerings.

Nanci also serves on the Penn Wood Elementary PTO in West Chester, PA. She holds a financial position at her religious affiliation in addition to her active participation as a member of the Religious School Committee. She has been a Girl Scout Leader for 5 years.  Nanci lives to network and is always encouraging business contacts to have the confidence to market themselves and what their businesses have to offer. She currently resides in Chester County with her husband Joe and two daughters, Nicki & Ari.


Suzanne Jackson - Gatti & Company, LLC



Suzanne earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an accounting major from Bloomsburg University. Suzanne is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor®. She received the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst sponsored by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts in 1996.

Suzanne is a former President and Treasurer of the Women’s Referral Network. She is also a member of the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry and Chester County Business Leaders in the Community. Other professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She was formerly a licensed mortgage broker.

Suzanne has lived most of her life in Chester County and currently resides in Malvern with her husband, Kris, and their three sons.


Susan Lacy - First Financial Group



Susan earned a B.S. in Forest Management from Colorado State University, an M.S. in Forest Resources Economics from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA in Finance from Villanova University.

Susan was a program manager and an Assistant Director with the USDA Forest Service for 18 years before shifting careers. She is now a registered representative and financial advisor with First Financial Group, a comprehensive financial planning firm based in Bala Cynwyd. Her mission as a financial advisor is to help women achieve financial independence and security. Susan is also a member of the Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce, the Morgantown Area Business Association and a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Chester County. Other professional associations include Women in Insurance and Financial Services, Society of American Foresters, and the Pennsylvania Forestry Association.

Susan has traveled to all 50 states and lived in eight different states. She currently resides in Honey Brook with her husband, Bruce and their Siberian Husky, Nanook.


Susan Mangold, Esq. – Lamb McErlane PC



Susan is a partner in the Litigation Practice at Lamb McErlane PC in West Chester, where she represents municipalities, corporations and individuals involved in contract disputes and other general civil litigation issues. She practices in both state and federal courts.

Susan has experience with arguments between neighbors and adjacent landowners, and cases involving airplane malfunction and health insurer liability. She also is among a group of several attorneys who handle a large volume of cases involving contract disputes for Fortune 500 companies. A graduate of St. Joseph’s University and a cum laude graduate of the Widener School of Law, Susan is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

An active member of WRN for several years, Susan’s firm, Lamb McErlane, served as Presenting Sponsor of the 2007 WRN Expo. She is also a member of the March of Dimes Chester County Salute to Women of Achievement committee, and is chair of its silent/live auction committee.

Susan resides in Chester Springs, PA with her husband and three children.


Kim Turnbaugh - Staybridge Suites Wilmington-Brandywine Valley



Kimberly Turnbaugh, General Manager of Staybridge Suites Wilmington-Brandywine Valley, Grand Opening celebrated in September 2007, earned her A.A. from Delaware County Community College and is currently studying Psychology at West Chester University. Her career is focused on the fast paced, highly competitive hospitality industry and includes both sales and management positions with the Hilton, Sheraton Suites, and Microtel. Kim lives in Chester County and is very proud of her son, Mike. She feels that every encounter is an opportunity for personal and professional growth.
